Riven

Riven is the name for the southern continent. When the continents split during The Great Break, the southern continent was named Riven after that split. Riven is home to almost a dozen recognized civilizations, dozens of smaller city-states, and a good number of indigenous peoples.
The territory is diverse with grasslands, forests, and jungles to both the east and west, several large deserts in the middle, and mountains all throughout. It is home to the largest canyon on the Two Continents. It is generally warm, much more so than Obsidian, with the east and west seeing varied seasons, warm summers, cold winters, with the west a bit more mild, and the east generally hotter. Riven's center, called the Burn, which is dominated by the Anubis Desert, is mostly consistently hot throughout the year, though during the winter the nights are known to get dangerously cold.
