Bellerophon
FV-603
The Bellerophon, Infantry Fighting Vehicle is battle taxi of the fusilier regiments within the Ministry of Defence and has been since its first experimental model in 2875. The Bellerophon is the IFV variant of the Pegasus medium tank system, and is built by BAE Systems out of New New York, New York Subsector.
Carrying 7 heavy infantry soldiers, the role of the Bellerophon is to drive troops to the frontline, to supply heavy weapons support and to give the MBTs of the armoured cavalry regiments close infantry support. It can be pressed into service as a reconnaissance vehicle, but, the Jason Light Combat Vehicle is much prefered for that role.
