Imen Zlalun
Imen Zlalun, or Desert Cattle, from the southern Wasteland, they are traded northward and used to keep the E Zlalun breeding stock from getting "thin-blooded." Imen Zlalun, called An in the Wasteland are let to run wild by the Zmai. They are nearly useless for milking, shearing, or butchering, as these small, short-haired, stocky, lean animals are abundant but mostly prey for other predators. Their hides are tough, which is somewhat useful, and they serve well enough as pack animals for the large Zmai. In the plains, though, this species make ideal mounts for persistence hunters like the Niechella. Strong but small, needing little in the way of water or feed, this was the original purpose of the Imen Zlalun that were brought out of the Wasteland, but exposure to the abundant food,
