Careers are culturally based. Which society trains a character dictates what they are trained in, obviously. Because of skill bloat in this setting, each career has ten, I repeat 10 skills that are counted as Career Skills and are cheaper to train with XP and every character can gain a rank in five of them at character creation. Careers are Era tagged, with some careers being appropriate for some Eras. Each career also has a unique passive ability that can be used at any time. Careers are linked to their abilities, and these cannot be changed.
