Scavs: Tempest Mercenaries

The Tempest Mercenaries are a group inside of "The Blades" that are currently the strongest and most prominent of the Blade factions. The leaders of the Tempests, the Brothers Shieldbrov, have been the Faction Leaders of the Blades for as long as anyone can recall. The Tempests do have branches that serve on active missions outside of the Graveyard, but the bulk of their forces remain inside the Graveyard itself as Court of Scavs: Hornet Pods or guards aboard the current Coffins (livable ship hulls).

Recruitment

They are held to a higher standard than any of the other Blade factions and acceptance into the faction is far more difficult. One must pass a series of tests and dangerous obstacles, fight alongside other Tempests in life or death situations, and finally get approval from the The Brothers Shieldbrov before they can officially earn the badge of a Tempest pilot or guard.

Icon

Unlike many Scavish organizations, they proudly wear badges on their chests or shoulders. Their icon is a crooked lightning bolt running diagonally.
