Formation of the Allied Terran Systems

Founding

In light of the first failed attempt at interplanetary exploration by corporate entities, the UN and EU successfully landed their first colonization team on Mars. This laid the framework for a new organization that would serve as the interplanetary legislative body of Earth. The Allied Terran Systems was created as a way to manage the interplanetary needs of Mars and Earth but expanded as Humanity did to encompass a vast swath of the galaxy.
