The Crusaders
The Crusaders are a military order of Paladins, Clerics and Knights who are granted permission by The Custodians to venture beyond the confines of The Wall. They are the lifeblood of The Veil, gathering resources from distant nations and are highly respected by the population of the Veil. Each Crusader swears an oath to never speak of what they see when on a mission. Crusaders often follow one of The Enduring Gods for protection and strength - specifically "The Sisters" Gallance and Valencia.
Crusaders don magical heavy armour sets known as Guardians. This armour is said to be sentient, communicating telepathically with the wearer and providing essential guidance during battle. Each Guardian has a unique appearance and, it is said, a unique personality. It is not known where Guardians are constructed but rumour tells of a hidden forge near Gerdt.
