Resurrection Day
History
Resurrection Day marks the end of the 6th Age when the first citizen was successfully cured of the Spellplague. Considered a modern imperial holiday it is often also interlaced with a celebration of the reign of Emperor Aleksander Rodorian XII and the wider contributions of the Imperial House of Rodorian to imperial life.
Execution
The day is a national holiday and often marked with the anouncement of major scientific discoveries or projects. Imperial favouring films and documentaries play across national channels and general celebrations occur in festivals. Unlike Empire Day there is no strict procedure on what to do or when with the day often being considered as a gift to the people of the Empire to do with as they please, much as the cure was a gift that allowed with them to use their lives as such.
