“Tax” Tower

This tower is used track, flag down, and tax ships traveling to Prensuchdt on the River Pren.

Description

Outer

A high, wooden tower, driven deep into the marsh. It stands about 50 ft tall with an enclosed room at the top. A set of 3 boats are moored to one of the pylons that sticks out into the canel.

Getting Inside

A ladder is lowered when the next shift comes on board or when surveyors are sent to 'tax' ships.   Supplies can be brought up and down from a crane that swings over the ladder hole.

Inside

The inside is quite bear but comfortable, with overstuff furniture and a fireplace kept. From a chair near a window, the River Pren can be clearly seen.   There is a crane that can be swung over the ladder hole, allowing supplies to be brought up and down.
