Prensuchdt

General Description

Prensuchdt has the stone devil/demon totems. Maybe are built into the walls of houses both others are given a respectful berth.   The foundation on which the upper village sits has intricate swirling patterns, like dissident cords that resolve into a melody. It has a ramp of packed earth and logs carved into the south side.

The People

They're swamp people

GM Notes

There is a 1-in-6 chance of Lefthand Friya being in town, staying at the Allthinghall   Invasion of yuhen means there is a 1 in 100 chance of being effected by one.

Factions

Rules for the Faction Game can be found here
The Amalriokers and The Brynholders are at each others’ throats.   The Wodykonders are just trying to keep their heads down and do their job despite everyone else fighting each other.   The Ragonawalders and The Brynholders have a complicated relationship since they’ve been relatively cooperative so neither wants to burn bridges with the other but The Brynholders really don’t like that The Ragonawalders have come into the area, even if they do, largely enjoy their support.   The Amalriokers and The Brynholders are trying to court The Thoydamers as a potential expansion of their power base and improved over-sea relations.   The Thoydamers are just looking out for their own community and looking to bring the hammer down on any orcs they find.

    Relationships

    Barony of Meedt

There were traders from the Barony of Meedt but they have dried up since the Orc Wars, which has made the town shrink.

    Black Brothers

The shipmaster is False-Plank Rypricht who is getting bribed by the Black Brothers. If a ship doesn't by a 'pass', False-Plank will make their life a beaucratic nightmare.

    Byrgilfin

The people of Prensuchdt don't like the Byrgilfin due to their raiding. When raiding is really common, prices are increased because shipments via the river take longer and the route is more dangerous. However, they have neither the resources, nor the focus, to permenantly remove the elves.

    Estra's Lighthouse

Sailors from Prensuchdt, Kystinlagir, and the Barony of Meedt all consider the silver lights of Estra's Lighthouse to be good luck and the purple lights to be bad luck.

    Far Abbey

The abbot of Far Abbey is under the dioceses of Prensuchdt and their high priest, Blindwolf Ditliv, who Goat-Mouth Gyntir doesn't like.

    Faylir Jyngi

The Prensuchdt consider Faylir Jyngi to be a type of defense as they keep a cache of food in the town hall to bribe him.

    Flysslagir's Brotherhood

The Flysslagir's Brotherhood will often target pilgrams heading from Ganktoalbi Ossuary to Prensuchdt. They murder them and take their things. There are even rumors that they eat their heart.

    Ganktoalbi Ossuary

The Flysslagir's Brotherhood will often target pilgrams heading from Ganktoalbi Ossuary to Prensuchdt. They murder them and take their things. There are even rumors that they eat their heart.

    Grynizilt

A lot of the meat and foraged good in Prensuchdt come from Grynizilt.

    High Shrine of Morjana

The High Shrine of Morjana is under the nominal control of the Prensuchdt and its high priest Blindwolf Ditliv but the shrine has a reputation for being rebellious and unmanageable.

    Huhli dir Syndi

Those from Prensuchdt gain a credit when they first get to Huhli dir Syndi which they can spend on their vices. The qwibs won't tell you when you've exhausted that credit and start to rack up a debt that they can later call on.

    Kynobirtheim

Most of the metal manufactured goods in Prensuchdt come from Kynobirtheim via the ferry at Ilfinwachi.

    Kystinlagir

Kystinlagir provides the lumber for Prensuchdt (and the great valley).   The shipments from Kystinlagir are often held up because Mace Krostoni will often refuse to by a Black Brother pass.

    Old Copper Mine, The

Many of the people in Prensuchdt used to work at The Old Copper Mine

    Stionhays

Stionhays proves the stones that used in the village's foundation and expansion.

    Sydlagir

The people of Sydlagir have been living for Prensuchdt and have started to push their political agenda in the village.   The rich and power of Prensuchdt often have country homes in Sydlagir

    Sympfilfin

The Sympfilfin will send some of their members to the tavern of Prensuchdt as a way of contacting adventures.

    Tryhk

Those that survived the fall of Tryhk made their way to Prensuchdt and moved in on the families there.

    Tyrmdrihin

The commander of Tyrmdrihin is the brother of a powerful man in Prensuchdt. He replaced the old commander, who is still stationed there and has a lot of soldiers loyal to him.

    Vurbiogihin

Those that fall out of favor in Prensuchdt are often 'exiled' to a post at Vurbiogihin since it's the furtherest (and most misrable) post they have command over.

    Waldinhafin

Prensuchdt will often send broken rafts and boats down river since the repairmen of Waldinhafin are much better than they. The repairmen will often buy broken boats, repair them, and then resell them.
