    History

    Recent

    • ~0 - 5 OI - During a nighttime assault on Meedt, Duke Volt, takes the city, killing Baron Lonys in the process and sending his son, Ickihard, into exile, however Volt dies in the assault and the horde is taken over by his daughter, Jopvi.
    • ~11 - 15 OI - Warlady Niekernkinner Ormtrayd holds the stronghold of Meedt, offering to welcome the exiled Baron Meedta Ickihard back into the city and offering a crown (and, by implication, a vassalage) but, flanked by his Ielsarsch lords, the young Baron enters the city with his army, takes the crown for himself and places it on his own head, rejecting the offer and calling their bluff. Ormtrayd surrenders the city.
    • ~16 - 20 OI - After a brutal PR campaign against the young Baron Ickihard, Meedt opens its gate to Warlady Heiwa Griti and her new husband, the line count, Rydo. The Warlady's strategy was to deal with the line counts privately, confirming their rights, and to spread rumors about Ickihard's parentage. The baron fled into exile in Stronghold of Welb.

    • Baron Meedta Waldhar desires nothing more than to create an artifact of immese power but the ritual requires noble blood so he tracks down the descendants of Castellan Thiudurocys who were sold into slavery. He succeeds and creates a hammer called "Bloodcrafter" that is said to be able to restore any item to perfect condition with a single stroke but requires blood to do it.
    • A man named Learned Girnut establishes the University of Meedt, an institution of learning that is publicly availible to all. Soon these universities crop up in many capital cities even though there are persistent rumors that their deans are secret Fatherling.
