Magic Users
Magic Users are people who have developed their Magic beyond the basic normal level, developing stronger Magic Cores. There are many types of magic users and different terms used to distinguish them. Some kinds of magic users are seen as morally wrong or evil and others are seen as fantastical and good; there are also some types who are barely acknowledged as magic users due to the way they use their craft.
In Autara and many other kingdoms, mages only practice light and grey magic as they view dark magic as harmful and morally wrong. Mages that do practice dark magic are looked down upon and are often exiled if their spells harm people or cause enough damage.
Mage smiths tend to work with basic spells that help with everyday chores, like cooking spells, as well as protective spells, like a rainproof spell for clothes, meaning that they mainly utilize grey and white magic. They may also use dark magic to create cursed objects, but this is very rare and often looked down upon.
Due to their knowledge as well as their having acquired more magical abilities, mage smiths are very skilled at utilizing and identifying magic items often even more so than other kinds of magic users.

Mage Smiths are a special kind of magic user, as they rarely use magic themselves only imbuing objects with spells and enchantments. The term is used to describe any craftsman who specializes in making magical objects even if the term mostly brings to mind metal workers who imbue their works with magic.Mage smiths tend to work with basic spells that help with everyday chores, like cooking spells, as well as protective spells, like a rainproof spell for clothes, meaning that they mainly utilize grey and white magic. Witches
The term Witches is used to describe magic users who perform grey or dark magic with no qualms, often having a grey view of morality; Like mages and Sorcerers, witches have a higher level of magical cultivation than the common person. The best example of a group that actually calls themselves witches is the Witches of the Woods. It is considered insulting for someone to call someone a witch as it often implies they have poor morals, even if not all witches are evil.
