Ministers of Justice

The Ministers of Justice are the civil servants and officials in charge of dispensing justice in Autara, most often by presiding over courts and overseeing that the laws are enforced properly.
There are multiple Ministers in the Capital, and there are also many more scattered around the kingdom, often set up in a court building in a larger town of the area they are servicing.

Ranks

In order for one to become a minister of justice one must have extensive knowledge of the law and interpretation of the law; this means that many of them have had some sort of higher education or training.
Most of these basic-level ministers of Justice work in the court systems either as judges, as lawyers, or as other court officials. Higher-ranking Ministers will preside over the higher courts where the criminal and more serious cases are heard.

The High Minister of Justice

The High Minister of Justice is the lead Autaran Minister of Justice who, besides working in the highest of courts, advises the Queen of Stars on laws and justice and works directly with the queen.

While working, Ministers of Justice wear grey robes with minimal decoration, a symbol of the order and balance they bring through the laws. The higher ranking Ministers, specifically the High Minister of Justice, also wear a fancy ruffly collar.
