Pixies

Pixies are a creature found in the wild parts of nature where not many people are, such as the Dark Forest where a large portion of them live. They speak their own language, called pixish, which sounds similar to animals chattering and squeaking.
The Witches of the Woods often befriend pixies, many of the witches can speak pixish, and have even been known to use the glowing creatures as a light source. They are also used as scouts and more simply for companionship by the witches.

Apperance & Behavior

Pixies appear as tiny glowing humans with dragonfly-like wings. They are never more than a few inches tall and appear mostly as a silhouette due to their strong glow with few features being discernible. They tend to be cool-colored with various shades of blue, green, and purple being the most common.
They are very mischievous and like to play pranks and jokes on people, sometimes unintentionally going too far. They also tend to be quite malicious when someone gets on their bad side, biting them or hiding their things, and if bad enough even causing physical harm by laying traps.
Pixies are known to lead people off the forest paths, sometimes intentionally and sometimes not, causing people to become lost and disoriented thinking that there is another person or a way out when they see another pixie leading them even deeper in the woods.
Pixies eat seeds and berries they can find as well as drinking nectar from flowers. They are rarely seen to eat but humans, as they are very private and territorial about their food and prefer to go eat by themselves.
The Pixies are prey for the Pixie-Eating Frog and many inattentive pixie get eaten by the creatures.
