The Postal System in Autara is the system that allows people to send messages, letters, and packages from one person to another across long distances.
There are various businesses and companies organized around postage with no centralized postal system for the entire kingdom. Businesses will often have various office locations where they can pass off messages from one messenger to the other as a way of moving messages long distance quickly.

Ranks

The ranking system varies depending on the company but in most cases, there will be messengers who deliver the post and then the administrators who keep things running smoothly.

Nimm Messengers

Nimm, often Cat Nimms or bird Nimms, are used to carry messages long distances without needing to write down the message as the Nimm will remember it word for word. They are most commonly employed in urban areas, or by people who require a message to be passed with limited paper trail.

Postmaster

The Post Master is the title given to the leader of each post office and is in charge of making sure everything runs smoothly at their post.
