Vanik

atop the Ern mountains, Vanik sits at the roof of the world. The monolith city is built into the mountain itself. Only accessible to those strong enough to climb the mountain itself, supplying this city has always been a challenge. Even with the invention of the airship, the city has always had a supply problem. To solve this, the builders of old built great caves and chambers for farming and livestock. Lit with magical sunlight, these giant caves provide the majority of the city's food supply. With the giant underground lakes filled with the melted snow from above, the citadel city of Vanik has everything it needs to survive independent from the world below.
