Aldern Foxglove (Noble)

Sir Aldern Foxglove

Post Battle, Aldern was the noble the party saved while battling the goblins at the North Gate.
Aldern is a handsome man, with medium-length brown hair and fair skin. He’s wearing bright blue clothes, consisting of a jacket, pants, and shirt, with sparkling black shoes, that don’t look comfortable. He walks around with a ceremonial cane, for show, not for walking. He’s very charming, well-read and will be entertained with his stories about life in Magnimar.

Boar Hunt

Aldern has requested the party accompany him on a Boar Hunt in the Tickwood forest. He has graciously purchased horses, via Goblin Squash Stables, for the party to keep as a token of his gratitude of being rescued.
Aldern was mysterious and inquiring while on the ride, which can be read in Adventure Summary Session 7. He gifted a nobles outfit to Pandereos beside horses to the entire band, minus Tharuzall who didn’t come along.

Personal history

Early Life

Traver and Cyralie Foxglove moved their small family into the abandoned Foxglove Manor, approximately halfway between Jaress and the small town of Yorik. It was here, later that year, that Cyralie gave birth to the couple's first (and only) son, Aldern. At the age of six, Aldern experienced immense tragedy when his mother burned the servant's quarters to the ground and was thrown from a second story window to her death by Traver upon attempting to set the house itself ablaze. Wracked with guilt, Aldern's father took his own life, leaving the boy and his older sisters Sendeli and Zeeva orphaned and traumatized. The children were sent to an orphanage in Jaress before being claimed by Traver's second cousin who then raised the children in Los Torres.

Adult Life

A year ago, Aldern returned to Jaress to reclaim his family's fortune and restore their good name. By then a successful merchant in his own right, he purchased a townhouse in the city and began working to build new ties with the aristocracy of the Strong City, always with his sights on regaining control of Foxglove Manor. Much of his political rise can be attributed to the assistance Aldern received from the mysterious Seven Brothers Society with whom he began to spend more and more time. It was their connections which made Foxglove's acquisition of his family's house a relatively simple task. Renovation of the decrepit building was no so simple, however, and he ended up taking on much of the work himself.
In the early months of this year, Aldern's luck appeared to change when he took in a band who were stranded in a terrible storm. Among them was the most beautiful women the young noble had ever seen, and completely smitten by her, Aldern proposed to Iesha that very night. The two were married within a week and their life together showed. 7 years ago, Aldern returned to Foxglove Manor as a grown man. He decided to renovate Foxglove Manor to all its former glory. About a year later, he met a Korghani woman named Iesha, and soon after, the two were soon married in a private ceremony.
Strangely, about a year ago, Aldern fired all the workmen, and the restoration project stalled. No one is allowed to come out to the manor any longer. Aldern refuses to speak about his new wife and instead of spending time with her, has begun traveling back and forth from Wyn Falas for business. Aldern never stays in the house, but instead always stays at the White Deer Inn; which is where he was when the goblins attacked Sandpoint
