Longjiku Last Will & Testament
I, Lonjiku Kaijitsu, hereby proclaim I’m of sound body and mind.
I still cringe when I look at myself in the mirror. I thought I was a noble man that had courage, but alas I’m a coward. I can still remember that late night, waking up from a sleep filled with an unquenchable rage. All the sneers, judgements, and banishment from Tian boiled up to a caldron of rage within me as I walked down the stairs to take in the Varisian Bay from my cliff side manor. If only my beloved Atsui, hadn’t walked out to see why I was screaming. I threw all my rage on her and tossed her over the balcony on the cliffs below. I stared as lucidity came back into me as I saw my beloved dead on the rocks. Instead of being a man, I quickly thought how I would hide this crime.
Unfortunately, Tsuto, heard the commotion and was awake during the event. Tsuto didn’t believe my tale and rightly so with my actions. Because of my wealth and social status, nobody else doubted my tale of the nights event, especially with Chopper the serial killer to be dealt with as he ravaged Sandpoint. As the days wore on, my guilt was taken out on Tsuto, since he reminded me of my beloved. It came to a head at her funeral, where we had a physical altercation, and he left along with my beloved daughter Ameiko.
They both went their separate ways and I was left with no wife and no children. Eventually Ameiko came back, a seasoned adventurer. If only she was a son, I would publicly shower her with praise. I’m proud of her achievements, but afraid to tell her that.
Tsuto has come back and I feel remorse unto him. He’s asked for a favor, it seemed simple enough, just let some men into the Glassworks factory from the old smuggler tunnels I had bricked up years ago. How was I to know it would be goblins and cause this destruction and death. It’s time to be a man, I will confront him tonight and take him to Sheriff Belor, where we can both admit our guilt.
