Sophia's Marketplace

Maria's Marketplace is a rectangular shophouse that is filled with oddities from beyond the region.  Maria has good connections with traders from the Sea Barons and is able to procure rare goods that many other traders in the area would trade an arm and a leg to get.  Richer inhabitants of Krakenheim frequent the shop in search for spices and oddities to decorate their homes with.

Purpose / Function

To procure rare goods and sell them to the upper class.

Architecture

The building is rectangular, has one story and is made of good oak, a rare wood in the area.  It is outfitted with glass windows and has a blue and yellow tiled roof.  At the door, a sign hangs with the store's name below a carving of a foreign looking boat.  The interior is well lit by chandeliers and lanterns, making all of the goods on display easy to view.  The place has its more common goods and knick-knacks displayed on shelves around the store, but the most expensive ones are displayed behind the counter.
