The Winded Sail
The Winded Sail is the biggest Inn in Krakenheim, as it is a hub for fishermen and mariners. The building isn't built in the same style as many other buildings in the town as sticks out like a sore thumb. It does not serve high quality food and drink, neither are the rooms particularly comfortable, but it serves it's purpose.
Purpose / Function
For serving food and drink to sailors, as well as giving them a place to rest.
Architecture
The building, unlike those around it, has plastered walls and a more southern style of architecture. It is a rather dirty building and its dim windows could use a wash. It's roof is made of the cheapest tiles available and are a dirty tan color. The interior is much the same as the outside in terms of cleanliness, though efforts are made to at least keep dishware clean. The place is almost always dim, even during the day, as it is lit mostly by lanterns; there is only one chandelier above the bar and it's on its last leg. The tables and chairs here are old and rickety, and many have one leg that is shorter than the others. The rooms are small and few fit more than two people, though the beds, as shoddy as they are, are cleaned weekly.
