The Great Woods

Otherwise known as the Beast Woods or the Midnight Forests, the Great Woods is actually three separate forests located closely together. Each forest has its own quirks and flora and fauna. The main aspect that ties the three forests together is that they are all controlled by lycanthropes. Various clans of Werewolves, Weresquids, Werespiders, and more have carved small territories and have established a sort of balance between them all.

Fauna & Flora

The Forest of Wolves

Much like its name implies, the Forest of Wolves is a lively forest full of numerous animals including, of course, wolves. Despite the unusually large number of animals there is a sort of balance maintained by the lycanthropes that live there. Under their protection, the animal population in the forest is kept in balance and safe from things like overpopulation, starvation, invasive creatures, hunters, and extinction.

Ambran's Rest

Widely regarded as one of the most beautiful forests in the world, Ambran's Rest is full of bioluminescent flora and fauna. The various glowing plants and animals are sought after by merchants and nobles throughout the known world. Of the three forests, Ambran's Rest has a fair balance of both flora and fauna.

The Dark Forest

Unlike the other two forests, the Dark Forest is home to very few kinds of animals. Here countless fauna has overgrown and gives the forest a more ominous atmosphere.
