Horgra Marblehood
Horgra is a friend of Nada Goldenbrew, or at least she pretends to be. Her family is neither noble nor particularly well-off, and Horgra was only invited at Nada’s insistance. She puts on a display of charm and friendliness to Nada’s face, but at heart she is a snooty, mean-spirited girl intent on taking advantage of the Goldenbrews - though she is not smart enough to figure how. Horgra gossips to anyone who will listen about Nada’s dated dress - buttons have been out of fashion for over a year, and the numerous bows were last season’s trend. Even on-trend details are picked apart: the beadwork is poorly executed, the lace looks cheap, the silk unevenly dyed - the list goes on. Unfortunately for Horgra, word of her criticisms reach both Nada and fashion designer Hengrot Nobleneedle. Nada never speaks to her again, and Hengrot publically announces he will never work with her (not that she could have afforded his designs in the first place). Without her vital relationship to the Goldenbrews, Horgra has no connections to the world of the wealthy, and is not invited to any further events.
