Kabim Ambergrog
Kabim Ambergrog is a perpetual alcoholic who spends every penny and pawns every valuable object she owns in pursuit of more ale - except, of course, for the golden locket around her neck. It would fetch a pretty penny were she to sell it - a month’s worth of alcohol at least - but she refuses to part with it. The locket was a gift from her lover, a farmer just outside the walls of Esset-Khal, but so far he has not succeeded in obtaining a Market Permit so they can see each other again - according to Kabim. In reality her old flame has long since moved on and is making no effort at all to visit, and avoiding this truth is part of the reason Kabim drinks.
