Fínola Uí Beccán is a Wardancer of Clan Eadeáin and the widow of Éibhear Ó Beccán. She is known as a manipulative woman that tends to belittle those around her.
Mental characteristics
Personal history
Fínola was born to a family of serfs in Adhmadoíte which answered to Clan Eadeáin. During her early years, she decided to train as a Wardancer, showing great promise and skill; this was to such an extent that she quickly trained with a troupe of older girls, together with Búodica Lugaid, with whom she formed a close and intimate bond. Her father was killed in 1028 by a bull that escaped his enclosure.
In 1038 she married Éibhear Ó Beccán, and two years later was inducted as a wardancer at only 18, rather than the usual 21. She gave birth to their son Liam in 1041, who died in his crib less than a year old; and later in 1042 to a daughter, that died soon after birth before being named. Her mother died of an illness in 1044 which she could not be treated for due to Fínola living away from her, a few months before Éibhear was executed.
Social
Contacts & Relations
Despite her alligence to Clan Eadeáin, Fínola holds an affectionate friendship with Búodica Lugaid, even after Fínola's husband was executed by order of Búadach O' Ailn, Búodica's older brother.
She is quite fond of Lochlainn Ó Teordach, the Court Druid of her clan, as they both fulfill a traditional semi-religious role, and are both averse to politics and intrigue.
