Magrim

Magrim, the Soul Shepherd is a demigod, who oversees the dwarven afterlife. He's credited with gifting dwarves the ability to commune with their deities. Magrim diligently restores weary dwarven souls, preparing them for reincarnation back into the mortal realm. Alongside Angradd, they observe earthly conflicts, their presence a source of strength for dwarven warriors. Many believe Magrim to be the offspring of Moradin, the dwarven god of creation.

Tenets of Faith

  • Refine your skills with relentless dedication, for mastery is the forge that shapes your legacy.
  • Carve runes that bind magic and memory, leaving your mark upon the world.
  • Let your hammer fall upon the shambling dead, for only by cleansing the darkness can creation thrive.
  • Offer your strength to complete the tasks of those fallen, ensuring no work goes unfinished.

Social

Contacts & Relations

Magrim finds his fellow dwarven gods overly concerned with protecting mortals rather than upholding the rigid laws of the afterlife. While he rarely disrupts their work, his disapproval simmers beneath the surface.   Magrim harbors a begrudging respect for The Raven Queen, the embodiment of death. He recognizes her role in the cycle of existence and, despite their differing philosophies, cooperates in repairing souls at her behest. This unexpected alliance further underscores Magrim's pragmatic nature.
