The Old Ox
The Old Ox is a tavern located on the outskirts of the city of navarra to the north of the cathedral. It is frequented by adventurers, inquistors, middle to low class citizens and some shady lowlifes. It is owned by Wolf Zemekis and has been run by him since the opening of the establishment in 1033.
Architecture
The Old Ox, situated on the outer edge of Navvara, boasts a mere 18 years of existence. Unlike its namesake, this tavern exudes practicality rather than age. Constructed from dark pine logs with moss-patched gaps, it resembles a sturdy mountain lodge more than an ancient bastion.
Its floors have become seasoned with sawdust, a silent testament to countless boisterous nights.
Inside, the space is a mixture of furniture: Mahogany tables, polished and pristine, cater to the weathered oak while offering ample seating for the common folk. Snug booths, tucked away in shadowy corners, provide room for private conversations or covert dealings. A winding staircase leads to eight upstairs rooms, each modestly furnished and impeccably kept.
A door at the end of the first floor connects the tavern and the zemekis family home through a wide corridor and a metal door.

History
the Old Ox was opened by Wolf Zemekis in 1033. Because of its varied clientele the place has been known to be inspected from time to time by the inquisition in order to root out any illegal activity. nevertheless the Old Ox's location and structure still attracts crowds with less then legal intent and rowdy inclinations, while also serving commonfolk and the inquisiton.
