Mark Edden Ferschtre
Mark Edden Ferschtre, who started his career as an illustrator for New Pepper Times news paper in 1582, became one of the most well know and prolific comic book artists and animators. He is most well know for creating the Miss Pepper series and producing the 12 episode animated series and a theatrical movie based on it.

Personal history
Mark was born in the Port of the West in a poor working family. His mother Kiy Ferschtre worked in a textile factory and his father Keumper Ferschtre worked at an oil refinery. Mark, being the oldest he had to find work to help raise his two sisters. At 9 years old he worked as a paper boy for the New Pepper Times, a common occupation for boys his age.
With a letter of recommendation from his mentor, Mark was able to go to Underwood State University to study the arts in 1580. His second semester he met
