The Slumbering MawAppearing occasionally above a deep trench in the Theran sea is a whirlpool of such magnitude that entire fleets get sucked below and dashed on the exposed rocks of the ocean floor. Those that survive the descent find only a humid, craggy cave opening at the base of the whirlpool that is reminiscent of a great maw. As the whirlpool’s strength begins to wane a choice must be made—let the crushing waters end the nightmare, or descend further into the unknown…
