Ghost Tether

Large pylons comprised of arcaheotech. Various precursor factions had Ghost Tether tech, such as the Xadia Ancients and Rikavi Ancients.  Ghost Tethers will prevent Ghosts from entering The Void and experiencing the afterlife. They also do not allow ghosts outside of their field (except with a physical body), but ghosts can enter the field.
These resemble large pylons. Their exact appearance can vary significantly depending on the faction that built it, but they take up the approximate volume of a cylinder of 10 m height and 1 m diameter.
These are found very rarely on some planets. There are several on Tebburus. The Xadia placed them there to provide Suons with evidence that the universe is not entirely governed by material laws of physics.
