Guardians

Squads of elite Hyperion Federation forces trained to escort VIPs such as First or Master War-Engineers, Grand Protectors, ect. They can project a large, strong bubble shield around a VIP within a moments notice. Sometimes, Guardians, other soldiers or people may take cover in this shield. They have equipment that allows them to easily see a potentially hostile contact from very far away and track them. For example, thermal imaging or being able to see through walls (using scanning devices similar to that on the 'Plasmon' Rifle) Guardians can also project holograms of themselves that look very real. This is often used to distract or confuse the enemy. There are typically about 5 guardians for each VIP they need to escort.
