Klarvranel
The largest planet in the Udawnis System. It orbits at a very large radius and is one of the coldest planets in the system.
Klarvranel is a large gas giant with an incredibly strong gravitational pull. It contains a large hydrogen content in its atmosphere, which is one of the first sources of hydrogen the Tranal Nomads ever exploited. Hydrogen is important for fusion reactor fuel, giving this planet a large historical and cultural importance.
Klarvranel also is no longer owned by the TN but the Sulethis Republic. Although this is technically the Banfranal home system, they gave it away to the SR as part of a deal.
Klarvranel also has a large asteroid ring. This has been mined for various metals, though not as lucrative as planetary mining it can be considered safer as mining divisions did not have to take geological events into consideration.
Due to its large orbit, it is very cold. Due to this, all hydrogen collection stations and crewed starships needed to be fitted with heaters, which often meant that power was required to make power. The Banfranal then could not afford to waste it.
