Section 86 Falls

Massive waterfall located on the Hyperion Federation megastructure known as Paragon.
The section 86 waterfall is most known to be one of the largest waterfalls on Paragon, and thus, owned by the HF. It is entirely artificial, stretching from the bottom of one layer, the water falling from a large hole in the layer, and then down to the next layer below it. The altitude difference spans more than 50 Kilometers.
Due to air resistance, the waterfall splits apart in the air, and reaches the ground at terminal velocity. This means that the entire area is under constant rainfall. However, there exists a large, extremely strong cable-like structure that can ionize the water slightly and cause it to clump, effectively attracting the water to itself. When online, this can make it resemble a classical waterfall more closely. When this is online, the terminal velocity is increased substantially due to the volume under the water being mostly water rather than air. This causes it to reach the ground at extremely high velocity, fast enough to be dangerous.
The upper layer features a structure of a mostly transparent material. This can allow viewers to observe the waterfall from the origin point. It is also through this structure that the water is directed though.
