Thrones

Even the angels were never able to truly receive the direct guidance of God but were instead relegated to Their voice — Metatron. This extremely powerful being was never present in any other world than Heaven and after its destruction by the hand of Lucifer, there really was no one to bring the Word of God. The Thrones, also known as the Ofanim (literally Wheels in Hebrew), have traditionally taken on the oral of bringing the Divine message to those who need it. When these angels are tasked with getting somewhere, nothing can or will stand in their way. They are usually able to bypass both mundane and supernatural blocks by finding ways around them. Some are even able to push through these limits.

Resonance

Through their natural interaction with The Symphony, they are able to find the best route to anywhere. This includes an incredible ability to navigate the Thicket of Thorns. They can even navigate between air molecules or similar in order to briefly move at speeds beyond what would otherwise be impossible.

Dissonance

The Wheels can never stop. They are always in motion to the extent that they are able to and whenever they can act to further their missions — they will do so even if it might have unintentional side-effects. To not act is to not carry the glory of Heaven. This might lead to seemingly reckless behaviour, but their speed can normally take the angel themselves out of trouble even faster than they created it.

Basic Information

Anatomy

In their true form, the Ofanim are spinning energies. They might appear as wheels within wheels of flame, possibly with one or more eyes along the edges of those wheels. Some of the choir who were created within the last few centuries BC take the shape of actual seats of power floating on the swirling energies.
