Groups of Marzanan Humans banded together in search of a safe place to settle. The Marzanans found a veil bisected by the Gold River and protected on three sides by mountains. They decided to settle in the veil and founded the settlement of Long Chengshi. Over several millennia, the settlement would evolve into the Imperial City and seat of power for the Marzan Empire.
