Clan Territories

The Clan Territories is the strip of land between the northing foothills of the Blackstone Mountains, and the Tursano Highlands. The barbarian clans laid claim to the entire band of milder sub-arctic, stretching from coast to coast. The territories is broken up into a dozen or so different sub-territories, each claimed by one of the great houses.

History

When the southern regions became "too civilized" for the barbarian tribes, they ventured far enough north were civilzation was unwilling to follow. Even making their way to a new land, the influence of the south remained. Four generations later, the nomadic tribes settled and put down roots. Tribes became clans. Clans carved out their territories. Maps were drawn, and the Northlands found its own form of civilization.
