Embercloud
The Emberclouds are an ancient and prestigious elven house that has stood the test of time in the northern elven kingdom. They battled fiercly against the betrayer gods and their allies during the realmswar. The aftermath of the war left their civilization in ruins with the only cities standing being Nyl Thalas, Illalona and Zefari. In the wake of this Queen Vanesa Ravenswood I decided to take advantage and take land from the elves while they were weak. The next few hundred years bred hostility and hatred between the Embercloud family and the bordering country Stoze. This eventually led to the war of 344 which concluded with a treaty between the two kingdoms.
King Vafaren and Queen Enyra Embercloud are the revered rulers of Nyl Thalas, governing with a balance of wisdom and compassion. The capital city, Nyl Thalas, stands as a testament to their house's influence, with towering spires that seem to touch the heavens and ethereal architecture that mirrors the beauty of the surrounding natural landscapes. Surrounded by an enchanted forest with a massive tree that taps into primordial power from a bygone era at its center. The emberclouds want to eventually restore the northern elven kingdom to its former glory.
