Lunitari

The God of Neutral Magic

Lunitari is the god of neutral magic - and is widely regarded as the divine conduit by which magic is brought to the inner planes through whatever unknowable force created the gods themselves. Nobody knows how magic came to the world, likely not even Lunitari himself, but the accepted belief is that it flows through him. He resides in the plane of Arcadia.   He stands between Solnari and Nuitari, who mould the magic which flows through Lunitari for either the advancement of good (Solnari) or the advancement of evil (Nuitari). These two are sworn enemies. Lunitari does not lend himself to either of these, rather he channels chaotic magic into the planes for beings to use as they will.   Worship of Lunitari is common in The Haradi Republic, where sorcery and the spirit of wild chaotic magic is celebrated.   Controversially, worship of Lunitari is outlawed in The Elven Confederacy and, through elven influence, The Thraxan Empire, as they fear the danger of wild magic.
This was one of the main points of conflict in The Surdonian War, where the Surdonians absolutely refused any impingement on their worship of Lunitari. It was a difficult sell to many new members of The Thraxan Empire as well, although they were eventually brought in line through military or diplomatic means.

Divine Domains

Divine Symbols & Sigils

Tenets of Faith

Lunitari is committed to the maintenance of the magical connection between the inner planes and the astral plane where magic is thought to originate. He does not differentiate between good and evil, only chaos.
