Collegeton

Collegeton is a unique town inside the Kingdom of Aloria. It is in the Rosen Barony, but runs as an independent town, under the Baron. The Town contains the University. Established by the First King of Aloria, it is by Royal decree an independent, self ruling entity. The board of Governors representing the schools of learning led by the Chancellor, serving by Royal appointment, control the University. It is chartered with increasing, preserving and teaching the knowledge of the Kingdom.

The Town is a part of the Barony and in Baron Rosen’s personal lands. A mayor serves at the baron’s pleasure. The town is a college town, much of its economy based on supporting the students and faculty. It is also a center for those who have graduated and are seeking to establish a business. Many curious things are created by the craftsmen around town.

Rumors say an Oracle makes his home in Collegeton. It is said if you truly need and seek, you can find your answers there, but it is not for the easily discouraged.
