Davenscross
Davenscross is a small town across the lake from Blackbird Point.
It is run by a very insular group called the Lakers. The community is small, but mostly self-sufficient. The locals make a hard scrabble living mostly by fishing. The surrounding countryside is not particularly good for farming, and so they make enough to survive, but don’t really export much.
The town of Davenscross consists of a blacksmith, general store, a seedy tavern, and some docks in rather questionable repair.
The general store is where Memphit holds court. She is the local wise woman, and is nominally in charge due to her seniority. While her position is not recognized officially, everyone in town knows she is in charge.
