Beneficent Asylum

Nestled amidst serene landscapes, the Beneficent Asylum stands as a beacon of hope and healing, its grand architecture a testament to the devotion to Nyxella, Goddess of Healing. The temple's graceful spires reach skyward, seemingly touching the embrace of both day and night, symbolizing Nyxella's dual nature as a deity of both light and shadow. Carved reliefs on the walls depict scenes of compassionate aid, with masked figures tending to the infirm and wounded, a homage to Nyxella's enigmatic visits. Fragrant gardens flourish within the temple's courtyard, vibrant blooms echoing the renewal that Nyxella brings to all who seek solace within. The temple serves as a sanctuary not only for the soul but also for the ailing body. Its hospices extend open arms to the nearby towns and cities, providing respite for the sick and wounded. Healers, bearing the wisdom of Nyxella's teachings, tend to patients with unparalleled skill and empathy. The services offered within these hallowed halls encompass a diverse range—herbal treatments for ailments, soothing balms for wounds, and the gentle touch of magical arts that mend even the gravest afflictions. The temple's adept clerics, inspired by Nyxella's own compassion, channel their powers to restore life's vitality.   Beyond the physical realm, the Beneficent Asylum offers a space for spiritual nourishment. Devotees and travelers alike gather for rituals that honor Nyxella's domains of Arcana, Life, and Love. Guided meditations are conducted in the moonlit chambers, seeking to attune souls with the rhythms of renewal. The temple's vibrant community of healers, scholars, and seekers form a tapestry of interconnectedness, united in their veneration of Nyxella and their shared commitment to spreading the balm of her healing grace throughout the land.   This was until the year of 1475 AE when the temple was layed low by an attack. A being was summoned into the temple, killing the monks, clerical staff, scholars, and even the sick and wounded who had come to seek healing. Eventually a group of adventurers managed to defeat this summoned creature, although they were too late to save all but a single remaining monk who dedicated themselves to attempt to restart the temple and its services.
