This was until the year of 1475 AE when the temple was layed low by an attack. A being was summoned into the temple, killing the monks, clerical staff, scholars, and even the sick and wounded who had come to seek healing. Eventually a group of adventurers managed to defeat this summoned creature, although they were too late to save all but a single remaining monk who dedicated themselves to attempt to restart the temple and its services.
