Celestwood
The Celestwood is a massive forest that covers the majority of the eastern portion of Xosutan. Many small towns, villages, and a few cities find themselves within the borders of the Celestwood. The forest itself is named after the Celestwood tree, found at the heart of the forest, where more mundane trees dominate the outer layers of the forest. Within the Celestwood is the Whispering Peaks mountain range which rises out of the heart of the forest and continues all the way into the plains of the Tsaeci, turning into rolling hills in their vast plains.
The Celestwood hides many ancient secrets of Xosutan, with ancient ruins of cities hidden deep within the forest depths. There also appears to be influence from both the stars and the fey within these woods as well, enshrouding them with magic, and navigating through the woods may involve various different phenomenon associated with celestials, fey, or the ancient magic of the Xosutan Empire.
