Pillar Forest

This nation, named mostly for its shape but also the trees within it, is a primarily wood elven nation that was settled by the new mostly fallen Xosutan Kingdom. The wood elven settlers in this region which was once magically grown as a borderland for the empire, have formed a rich culture with deep practices that involve the sanctity of nature and the worship of the God of Nature. They are known as some of the best sharpshooters in the world, and their prodigious skills in stealth and guerilla warfare, as well as their uninterest in expanding beyond the borders of their forest realm, has rendered would be invaders slaughtered by them with minimal losses.
The Pillar Elves build their cities amidst the boughs of the Vallenwood Trees that form the bulk of the Pillar forest. These isolated positions high amidst the trees make these particular elves avid climbers. They will build trade shops at the base of some of these trees, although trade towns are built on the edge of their forest kingdom.
Their worship of the god of nature has led them to an interesting path, revering Shokothre, God of the Hunt, and Aurdu, God of Nature in equal degrees, the Pillar elves are actually vegan. Despite this ritual hunts are common, it is common to kill an animal during a wedding, coming of age ritual, and several other social rites, but to not partake in the flesh. Instead animal skins and furs are used in clothing and their bones in building, and the meat of these animals are interred in underground caverns that run below their Valenwood Trees, feeding the meet directly into the roots of the trees. Legends speak of their ability to communicate with the spirits of the forest, and encountering a Whisperwind Stag is believed to bring good fortune and a sense of tranquility.
Lumina Blossom
The Lumina Blossom is a rare and enchanting plant that flourishes exclusively within the Pillar Forest. These radiant flowers possess luminous petals that emit a soft, soothing glow in various hues of blue, green, and purple. They grow in clusters atop the branches of the towering Vallenwood trees, creating a breathtaking display of bioluminescence within the forest canopy. The Lumina Blossom is said to possess mystical properties, its gentle light rumored to have healing and restorative effects. The Pillar Elves hold the Lumina Blossom in great reverence, considering it a sacred symbol of the forest's vitality and divine connection.
