Sarrukh's Legacy

Nestled deep within the northern jungle of Ophidium, near the border with The Stellar Theocracy, lies the ancient and forgotten city now known as Sarrukh's Legacy. Once revered as a center of worship, its grandeur now lies in ruin, obscured by the lush foliage and the mysteries of the dense jungle.
As one ventures closer to the city's outskirts, towering trees give way to the crumbling remnants of grand archways and weather-worn structures. The jungle's relentless advance has intertwined with the city's stone foundations, creating an eerie fusion of nature and ancient civilization.
Within the tangled maze of overgrown streets, where dappled sunlight filters through the dense canopy overhead, a sense of ancient power still lingers. Moss-covered walls bear faded carvings of serpentine figures and symbols of forgotten deities, hinting at the city's illustrious past.
At the heart of the jungle stands the towering ziggurat, its once-imposing structure now concealed by creeping vines and foliage. Cracks mar its weathered surface, and the steps leading to its summit are obscured by tangled roots and fallen debris. Yet, despite the encroaching jungle, an aura of mystique surrounds the ancient temple, drawing the curious and the intrepid alike.
Deep within the depths of the ruined ziggurat, hidden chambers lie concealed, their secrets guarded by the passage of time and the jungle's embrace. Ancient traps of arcane origin protect the inner sanctums, remnants of a bygone era when the city was a bastion of power and reverence. Amongst the shadows, forgotten relics and artifacts lie dormant, awaiting rediscovery by those bold enough to seek them out.
But amidst the ruins, a new presence stirs—a being of ancient wisdom and serpentine grace. The last living Sarrukh, freed from eons of imprisonment by the hands of fate and the valiant efforts of The Twilight Guardians. A guardian of forgotten knowledge and keeper of the city's secrets, the Sarrukh now begins the process of repopulating the city with a new species of Scaled Ones known as the Dracon. These Dracon, descendants of the Sarrukh's creation, emerge from hidden chambers within the ruins, their scaled forms bearing a similar configuration to Centaur's somewhat looking like the torso of a dragonborn placed on the wingless body of a dragon.
Even as nature seeks to reclaim what was lost, whispers of the city's past glory and the power it once held continue to echo through the dense foliage. For those brave enough to venture into the depths of Sarrukh's Legacy, the promise of untold treasures and the chance to witness the birth of a new era await amidst the ruins of Ophidium's enigmatic history.
