High Mage

The High Mages of Valorast were the oldest and most powerful of that nation's wizards, who ruled over it through the Magocratic Council. They reported to that council's head, the Archmagister, and managed the Magisters under them.
The Valoran system was based on the government of High Netheril, the ancestral homeland of most of its denizens and its founder, Magister Valorast.
