Sunken Sar

Sunken Sar is an agricultural settlement on the sea floor of the Tranquil Depths, in the shallows surrounding the western and northern shorelines. As its name suggests, the settlement was originally a landbound part of the city of Sar-Vistu - nowadays commonly known as Tiriande - that crumbled and sank between the waves.
Few people actually live within the ancient crumbling ruins of Sunken Sar. Instead, the merfolk and aquatic elves of nearby Santhella have used the ruins to cultivate their crops and raise livestock. Currently, Sunken Sar is one of the major food suppliers not only of the underwater districts of the Tranquil Depths but of much of Tiriande as a whole, some delicacies even making their way to the dinner tables of Exotist merchant princes way above in the Cliffside District of the Boneyard level.
