Caseon (K-ass-ee-on)
The Grand Sovreignty of Caseon, or "Caseon" for short, is a total monarch nation ruled by a Sovereign and known for it's rich culture of the arts. Caseon is one of the most powerful and large of the Inner Sea nations, with a large military and fleet that is used mostly to impress their power upon their neighbors.
There is much mystery and rumor surrounding the Celurian Guard, perhaps cultivated purposefully themselves to create a more threatening persona. Celurians are some of the few non-nobility within Caseon who are allowed to practice Mystic Craft, which they use to create shielding enchantments surrounding the Sovereign at all times.
One rumor surrounding the Celurians is that they are only half human, enhanced with enchanted body transplants crafted through use of Mystics. There is actually some truth to this rumor, since all Celurians have one of their arms replaced with a Mystical construct arm that is infused to allow them to create greater shielding enchantments.
Society
Caseoni are known not only for their political machinations, but also their architecture, art, literature, philosophy, and law. Caseoni society is divided into two main classes. The Nobility, and the common folk.Customs
Caseoni culture is very uptight, and has many complicated customs and techniques which foreigners find hard to navigate.- Never turn your back on someone. It is considered a snub, you must always back away from them. This does not hold true however if you are a Noble before a commoner.
- Gesture across the face and say "Prosperit'oir" (recieve prosperity) as a greeting. Use one hand for those of lower or same station, and two for those of higher station.
- To smile or frown too much is considered mockery. To frown or smile too little implies snubbery.
- Only praetorians may carry weapons within the walls of major cities.
Nobility
There are 28 noble houses, familial lines going back centuries. Of these 28, there are 12 who are most prominent in power and influence. All the noble houses owe their allegiance to the Sovereign House, Marileyn. Current fashion among the Caseoni nobles are high collars for the women, and many arm bands for the men. The women wear voluminous dresses and hoop skirts, while the men where long coats and bell-shaped hats with feathers in them.House Merileyn
House Merileyn is the current Sovereign house, having defeated the other houses during the Caseoni civil war. Maroon and Orange are the colors of both House Merileyn and by extension, the entirety of Caseon. House Merileyn's seat of power is in the capital of Valeronde itself, though they also have an ancestral estate slightly further south in Ciravate.House Astardo

Known for their love of science and invention, the Rosna house wears blue and gold colors. The head of house Rosna is Lord Lucas Rosna, a tinkerer known for his eccentric ways.House Loveti

Pretorian Army
Unlike in Daland where Lords are obligated to raise their own armies, the Caseoni military is under the absolute control of the Sovereign. They are known as the Sovereign Pretoria, or "Pretorians" for short. The Praetorians are almost a class of their own, trained at a special school called the Academi la Pretoria, or "Pretorian Academy." Pretorians wear red surcoats with armor plates fitted over it, as well as domed helmets fitted with red plumes, the size of which varies by rank. Pretorians typicallySovereign Navy
Caseon is very proud of its Sovereign Navy, and their nautical presence in the Inner Sea is exceeded only by Tirros. Sovereign Navy ships are large and highly decorated, built more to impress than for straight functionality. Sovereign Navymen dress in similar garb to the Pretorians, albeit with less armor and blue and white colors instead of Red.Celurian Guard
The Sovereign Celuria, or "Celurian Guard" are the elite force dedicated to protecting the Sovereign. Celurians are shrouded in mystery, and wear plated armor, red robes and masks which completely cover their faces. by Roman
