“It seems there’s only one little turtle boo left,” She cooed, voice dripping with honey. “How sad that it’s the smallest, weakest one.” Big Mama smirked, twirling her wagasa. “You know, it’s not too late for you to give up.”
“No way!” Mikey protested. “I’m gonna win this thing. For my brothers!”
“Oh I assure you, this warrior will be your end. She is our strongest fighter yet. The champion of the Battle Nexus!” She giggled.
“Then they haven’t seen my mad skills! Hiyyya!” He spun his chucks around confidently, trying to hype himself up. His stomach was spinning as fast as his weapons and he was hoping that Raph would wake up to at least watch him, but his elder brother was still and quiet. “I totally got this! For my brothers!” He shouted as he ran out into the arena.
Big Mama watched on with a displeased sneer on her face before slinking back into the shadows.
The crowd cheered at his entrance. Mikey had never felt so seen before, and it was pumping energy through him, boosting his confidence. He hopped from foot to foot and flapped his hands before doing several flips. The crowd roared for him, and he was soaking it up.
His opponent stepped out next. They were a cloaked figure whose face was entirely obscured by a kabuki mask. They wore armor made from the parts of foes they have slain before; most notable were the shells of kappa on their shoulders. Though slender, they stood silently, forebodingly.
Synopsis
Usagi attends to a severely hallucinating
Leonardo and gives him medication to counteract the effects of the drug. Meanwhile, Mikey fights his final opponent, the Battle Nexus champion; a warrior only known as
Venus. The after an intense godai fight, Mikey claims victory, only to discover Venus may not be an ordinary yokai.
The boys finally go home with a piece of the
Yoroi Ketsueki.
