Vicky Jones
Victoria Angolie Jones (a.k.a. Vicky)
Appearance
Vicky is an older white woman who looks a lot like her daughter Casey, but with slightly longer face shape and a larger nose. She has long dark hair and that is beginning to grey in the front, and wear's thick glasses. Like her daughter she doesn't tend to dress very feminine, and is often seen wearing work pants and a button down shirt.Personality
Vicky is as bullheaded as Casey is. She has a stern, take no bullshit attitude and is incredibly stubborn. While she cares for Casey, she's not the most outwardly affectionate person, and is often exhausted from working all day. But get on her good side and she can not only be a dedicated mother, but a loyal friend.History
Vicky was young when she and Mason Jones got married, as they were both just out of high school. Not long after that, she would get pregnant and give birth to her first and only child, that she named Cassandra. She had planned on having more kids but when Casey was only a child, Mason walked out on them, leaving Vicky alone. Vicky had to pick up a few new part time jobs to make ends meet. She began working primarily at a bodega in the city.Relationships
History
Mason and Vicky were high school lovers who believed they would be together forever. They got married right out of high school and shortly had a child together. However the longer their marriage went on, the more red flags Mason put out. He began being verbally abusive to Vicky, shouting at her and breaking things in the house when ever he would get mad. After a particularly bad argument that involved accusations of cheating, Mason backed his things and left the house in the middle of the night, never to return.
Relationship Reasoning
VIcky had Casey very young in her life, and has gone through a lot of hardship with her marriage and financial situation. She tries her best to do right by Casey, but often she is so busy with her job and trying to keep up with the bills that she has little time to actually be a parent to Casey. Casey doesn't hold it against her, understanding that times are hard and she's doing what she has to to keep the lights on and food on the table. But the lack of emotional attention has resulted in her seeking that attention elsewhere, often from dangerous people who would take advantage of her. The two have poor communication with each other, as often times Vicky doesn't really know the full extent of the things Casey is up to, until the rare occasion she's brought back home by the police.
Relationship Reasoning
Vicky doesn't have the best relationship with Sid. She disapproves of his life style, and would otherwise have completely distanced herself from the family if it weren't for him living so close, and more importantly, her need to watch after his daughter Angel.
