Boucherie Grande

 The Boucherie Grande is a festival held once every ten years amongst the Halflings of Dalenshire. As the day approaches, the Haute Granpere declares the specific date and location. The leaders of the six great clans devise competitions, and, through these, a new Haute Granpere is chosen. Among all clans, it’s considered to be an excellent time for children to meet future mates, to exchange songs and stories, for alliances to be made or broken, and for special treats that’ve been saved to be brought out and shared.
