Diana Cloppington

Diana Cloppington is a Human who works at the Witchlight Carnival. As far as anyone can tell, she made a bad bargain with one of the Hags of the Hourglass Coven, asking to be reunited with her lost horse. As a result, she resembles a Centaur, a fact that depresses her greatly, as she no longer fits in with humans, and centaurs seem too wild and unruly to her.
She is employed to run the Carousel at the Carnival. She can't speak of the hags or her bargain, because her mouth fills with treesap, and her fingers start to grow painful toadstools. Somehow, however, the unicorns of the Carousel seem to have taken some of Diana's secrets and bestow them on those who seem clever and willing to help.
